I don't know if this is a Firefox 4.01 problem or a Windows 7 64 bit problem. I'm beginning to suspect Windows 7. Basically when I try to download a file the save dialogue pops up I press save and nothing happens. Windows 7/Firefox refuses to download the file. It does this if I'm already downloading a couple of files. It's not the network.http.max-connections-per-server setting. I have that set to 8. On our XP machine if we try to have more than 8 simultaneous downloads the save dialogue won't appear at all. With Windows 7 we get no where near that limit as we aren't allowed to save the file even though the save window has opened. Has anyone else experienced a problem trying to save files. This is with simple right-click and save link as. No download manager involved. Thanks,
Chris

Re: Problem Downloading
have you tried clearing the FF cache ? (there's an addon which lets you do that easily)
Cheers, Claude.

Re: Problem Downloading
Thanks for the reply, I have Firefox set to clear the cache every time I close it.
