Using XP SP-3 and IE 8 (all the latest updates installed)
After I download a file using the default Windows Download Manager, there are the 3 options: Run, Open Folder, Close. I most often use the "Open Folder". But something has changed and when I click on the "Open Folder", the "Open with" dialog opens instead.
Anyone know how to fix this strange problem?
Download Manager's "Open Folder" doesn't work

Re: Download Manager's "Open Folder" doesn't work
Go to Windows XP File Assocation Fixes.
Download the Directory Extension Fix. (Don't click "Open Folder" when the download is finished )
Unzip the .reg file it contains.
Double-click the .reg file to run it.

Thanks Hans,
I'll give this a try the next time I boot into XP.
