I have inherited a one-page Word 2007 form that has protected fields for user entry. It has many fields that require a fairly complicated response, which is not obvious from the field names themselves. I made an unprotected copy with many markup comments to remind me when I fill one out.
In the protected version, is there a way to allow a user to hover over a form field, then show Help for that field? Or any other ideas on the subject?

Re: Help for form fields
Not really, but there are two help text options: you can display a help text in Word's status bar, and you can have help text pop up when the user presses F1 - both when the insertion point is in the form field:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Help for form fields
I will try that approach; it sounds like it would fill my user needs. I'll add F1 Instructions to the form.
Thanks, Hans
