Yes, that's a problem; but, then, so is disposing of the ashes.

'Write letters?'
Who writes these days ... perhaps it's now time to modify to 'Type letters'

Re: My Therapist
I will add a question "Who uses circulation lists?" and clip it to the office memo when it reaches me, read the memo, cross my name off the list, and pass the memo on to the next poor sucker.
This was always a game with increasingly difficulty as the easier names got crossed off first. The loser was the last idiot who had the longer vacation.

Re: My Therapist
Hi Ken. I can cheerfully answer your question "Yes!" if, like me, your are penurious and have been into Second Use For Everything for so many years that you always save Christmas and Birthday cards for second use.
But to qualify for the "circulation list" scheme above you would, like me, need a very well-organized data base of friends names and their birth-dates and recurse that to a (minimum recommended) depth of three with their friends names and dates of births.
I should add that you can make a bit of money on the side by printing circulation lists from your database for your friends personal use.
HTH
Cheers, Chris
P.S. I have found that over time my number of friends has dropped away, but this is well-compensated by the rise in my number of hateful enemies. C
