Mediabiasfactcheck rates Byline Times as more factually correct than The Independent or The Guardian, but slightly further to the left.

Very true, but independent insofar as there appears to be no link to political donors, as is certainly the case with the BBC, and is untainted by 'press barons' such as Mr Murdoch.

Byline Times has a distinct political perspective, but is definitely not funded by murky outside forces like most news outlets

Private Eye is probably the most unbiased and independent publication. And it makes you laugh too!

Today's ms-leading headline come from the BBC website and refers to a young lady:
"I had the liver of an alcoholic aged 10"
Observe that they have changed the story's headline, and even that in the column on the right! The flaky headline comes from the main news page, which will probably have changed by the time you look at it...

I was diagnosed with Liver Disease before the young lady was three years old!

And to my surprise this CNN article on What you need to know about Europe’s bedbug panic made a lot of sense to this world-traveler (including my bed-bug experience in Poissy, about 1/8 the way down this page, Also half-way down that page - a store window in a Chemists/Pharmacy)
Until I came across an image of a suitcase - with its lid resting on a bed right there in the middle of the CNN article.
A short but timely correspondence led to this "Thanks for reaching out. As a freelance contributor to CNN, I don't have control over which photos they choose.".
My heart weeps for CNN correspondents.
Cheers, Chris

... and while I am naturally concerned about theft in Bonavista, I am even more concerned about the mental health of thieves who return their stolen goods so that they can carry on their dastardly attacks ...

Would you say that the food was pre-stolen or re-stolen?

John I am not sure, but seeing as how that was the trailer we will just have to wait for the release of the full movie!
Cheers, Chris
