Has anyone here used Explorer ++ and if so, used it with Windows 11. I do know that Explorer ++ is supposed to be a small and fast file manager. In doing a quick Google search I did not find if it can be used along with Windows File Explorer? So does anyone have any comments if it can be used with Windows File Explorer and is it even worth downloading it and trying to use it?
Thanks.

According to Explorer++ Features:
I haven't tried it, but it's free, so what keeps you from testing it out yourself?
so apparently it can be used alongside Windows Explorer.Full drag-and-drop support with other applications, including Windows Explorer

Re: Explorer ++ Used In Windows 11
Well, some time ago, somewhere, I learned how to create a bat file that opens Windows File Explorer with its old ribbon and I did not want to take a chance on messing that up. I was just curious if anyone had tried the explorer ++ and if it had any significant benefits. Thanks for the reply.HansV wrote: β19 Aug 2023, 15:03According to Explorer++ Features:so apparently it can be used alongside Windows Explorer.Full drag-and-drop support with other applications, including Windows Explorer

From the Explorer++ site, it appears to be a portable app. You don't have to replace File Explorer. See this page of the documentation - General options.

Thank you. I think I'm going to leave well enough alone. I have a history of messing things up.JoeP wrote: β20 Aug 2023, 20:55From the Explorer++ site, it appears to be a portable app. You don't have to replace File Explorer. See this page of the documentation - General options.

As Harry Callahan (aka Clint Eastwood) said "A man's got to know his limitations."
