T+plus 53 minutes, 30 seconds. The upper stage has completed the perigee raise maneuver, and Orion is in a safe orbit around Earth. The trans-lunar injection burn is expected to begin in about 36 minutes.

Thanks for the link, Graeme, but how i wish that the announcers spoke English.Graeme wrote: β15 Nov 2022, 19:53The Launch window opens at 06:00 UTC tomorrow:

Around about one minute into the flight I heard, yet again, " ... Max-Q, the greatest period of pressure ..."
At least three of my high school teachers must be rolling in their graves ...
Cheers, Chris

I'm sure you've found this already, but:

My favorite space launch esoteric acronym is one is MECO!

I **think** that's the first time I've seen cirrus passing by at 25,000 mph.
25K mph is one orbit every 60 minutes, whereas LEO is 90 minutes, I believe.

Re: Artemis 1 Moon Mission
Why are they all so uptight about being able to see the capsule from the ship?
I would have thought that the critical point was that the capsule could see the ship!
Later: The capsules has a good view of two jellyfish; that's a good sign ...
Cheers, Chris

Postlude: Timed to the minute. Why can't the TTC streecars run on time? (OK, a minute late, but on a 40-minute streetcar run that is still only 00.1111%)
Cheers, Chris
