Hi,
Is there any way I can keep the pointer as visible while in presentation mode ? I know this can be done through pointer options-->Visible. But this needs to be done every time I present a particular slide which is quite irritating. Is there any way that i don't have to change everytime from automatic to visible ?
Regards

Re: Keeping pointer as visible by default
No, unfortunately that isn't possible. According to Always show the pointer during a presentation:
Note: It’s not possible to make the pointer appear by default for every presentation, so follow the instructions below for each presentation in which you want the pointer to appear.
Best wishes,
Hans

You might vote for Enable laser pointer permanently on PowerPoint UserVoice. This site is monitored by the PowerPoint team.

Re: Keeping pointer as visible by default
Although Hans has answered your question, it really is as simple as pressing CTRL+A after initializing the slide show. CTRL+A (for arrow) keeps the arrow on-screen as is easier and more convenient than using the right click menu.
In addition to CTRL+A, you can also use CTRL+P (for pen/annotation) and CTRL+H (to hide the arrow/pen)
