Seems that lately when I make a post and hit the Submit button, a copy of my post appears but at least TWICE the size. Then after a few seconds, it resets itself back to normal size and the size an fonts aand all are the proper size?
I'm not even sure where to start to look for some errant seting or whatever.
Ideas or suggestions? It's more an annoyance than a real problem.

Forgot to add. The post looks to be the right size horizontally but my five lines of text expanded to atake up about two thirds of the screen vertically.

Re: Another strange Lounge occurrence
That is probably just a problem with rendering the post, perhaps caused by a slight delay on the server.
Best wishes,

Re: Another strange Lounge occurrence
(Being able to log in is, I daresay, a necessity to keep a forum going. )
I've seen something similar (as if the page was being zoomed to 150-170%), a couple of times when I visit the Lounge, Bob. That is, I notice it immediately at the Lounge portal, not while being logged in and moving from one page to another, or posting a reply. At those times I simply refresh the page, perhaps not something one would do while typing, or posting, a reply.
I agree about not being a real problem (in my case a very minor annoyance, if any at all). But as you say it resets itself back to normal size after a couple seconds, without you doing anything, it seems to be a temp. delay related to the connection and the browser loading the page while sending the post. (A much needed packet arriving too late?)

I've noticed that the typeface on the page is much larger before I log in than after (not always, but quite often)

I don't think I've seen what Bob describes in the OP but I have seen large type if HTTP and HTTPS gets mixed up.

Might it have something to do with the skin you are using?
Argus? Nick? Ken? Bob? what skins are you using?

Re: Another strange Lounge occurrence
I doubt it is the skin but I do use Rainnbow Pearl becuase it's much easier on my lousy eyesight. The black background is so much better ( for mr )than the glaringly bright background in the other skins. I have been using RP ever since we made the switch over to Eileen's.BobH wrote:Might it have something to do with the skin you are using?

This occurance is only after making a post, then it's pretty constant I guess I could swap to another skin temporally but first I have to dig out a pair of sun glasses.

I can't see that it's anything to do with the skin but I use subsilver2.
