Re: Lounge Links
Hmmm... I have no idea what causes that. I use Gmail but I haven't seen such links.

Re: Lounge Links
I too have not seen this view/option in Gmail.
Do you have any add-ins/extensions active that might customize Gmail?

Re: Lounge Links
Possible solution.
My Gmail has no addons.
In Settings > Advanced tab all are Disabled.

I found this and disabled it.

Re: Lounge Links
I know it's possible to view your YouTube history and web activity history (if enabled), but this is normally displayed in its own web page, not in Gmail...

Re: Lounge Links
I could be wrong, but it looks like it is part of Googles recent makeover for Gmail. It seems to be an addition to the quick action buttons setup.

Re: Lounge Links
Hans:- when reading post links in the forum, not all take me to YouTube and dont appear in my All Mail folder.
Rudi:- I use Thunderbird to read & send mail. I only visit it occasionally to check the Spam/Junk folder.
I have a fair amount of filters in Gmail which I use to delete ones I dont want.
I have only used 0.05 of my 15GB.
Just found this in my Gmail All Mail folder.

Re: Lounge Links
You use Thunderbird, but aren't the two screenshots you provided taken from Gmail?
I still think they might be part of the new action buttons recently adopted in Gmail, however, I still haven't seen them in my inbox. It could be a Gmail local setting?

Re: Lounge Links
My images were all taken from within Gmail. I dont get images like this in Thunderbird, only attached files.

Re: Lounge Links
Ah - it depends on the "Display density" setting in Gmail (gear button > Display density).
The Default setting looks like yours:
I always set the density to Compact; that's why I don't see those icons.

Re: Lounge Links
Sheesh! In my search for the answer I actually toggled the display density from compact (also my preference) to "Comfortable", but I didn't select "Default".
I was so close, but so far!!

Re: Lounge Links
Well...where that or not, it was nice to learn that the default view has these buttons. It can be quite convenient to quickly access the additional items in the email. It would have been nice (though probably not practical) to have these in the quick buttons on the right side of the email in compact view too.
Cheers
