Just a few useful tips in Microsoft Technet's 77 Windows-7 Tips (posted some time ago by JoeP, perhaps?)

Paul Thurrott's Supersite for Windows has lots of useful articles and news on Windows 7.
I've just returned from visiting the Paul Thurrott's webpage. I got a 404 Error: Page Not Found message. IE 9 supplied the error message.

Just a heads up in case you need to correct the link.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive & well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, red wine in the other, body thoroughly used up. Totally worn out & screaming "Wow, Wee What a ride!

It's probably because he's moved onto Windows 8!

I advise you not to follow my advice.

John's original post and the link is almost two years old now and I'm sure it's just a matter of Paul T cleaning house by removing some of the older pages.

Opps! I should have read your next post. Sorry about that. :flee:

Just noticed GloriaE as the last poster in this thread.
Guess she is not with us anymore?

She's probably on Win89 by now...not worried with Win7 sites any more!

Gloria hasn't logged in here or any of the many other forums she was a member of since end December 2012. No idea what happened though.
Best wishes,
Hans

Windows Secrets Forums: https://windowssecrets.com/forums/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ask Woody: http://www.askwoody.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Woody Leonhard was the founder of both of these sites. He is no longer affiliated with Windows Secrets Forums.
Woody has a link to Eileen's Lounge at askwoody.com.

When Woody fell out with the new owners of Windows Secrets, he asked us if he could include a link to Eileen's Lounge on AskWoody, which didn't have its own forums at the time. Later on, he created his own forums on the AskWoody site.
Best wishes,
Hans

Sorry that I'm posting years after the last post on some of these topics. I do it only if I feel that the topic is still "open".
