I'd give a carton of greeting cards to anyone who can come up with a way to stop the VBA help (Excel 2000 is a classic example) of mindlessly re-sizing my windows.
They are my windows, right?
I use the F1 function key on a VBA atom, VBA help loads, and re-sizes my VBA window to about 1/3 its maximized size.
No matter that I re-maximize the window, VBA help knows best, and shrinks it again.
I maximize every window and like working in maximized windows, because it optimizes the use of my eyes and brain.

Re: Inhibit VBA Help window resizing
Does the Help window in Office 2000 have an Untile button? If so, click it - the Help window will then be independent of the VBE window (and the button will change to Auto Tile).

Sadly, No.HansV wrote:Does the Help window in Office 2000 have an Untile button?
It has a Show/Hide button, and a cursory play-around with that button did not seem to inhibit the re-sizing.
Nice try though.
Much appreciated.
Thanks Hans. P.S. Do you think anyone on the Netherlands team might know?
