Sadly I have to limit my cake intake. But if you offered me a slice of sacher torte I might be tempted.

If we're going to visit Rudi's Lounge in Vienna, we might as well have some Sacher-Torte!
Best wishes,
Hans

Sacher-Torte and a pint of Guinness. What more could you ask for?

That's the place where I last had sacher torteHansV wrote:10:30 AM, corner of Philharmoniker Str. and Kärntner Str.?
Hotel Sacher
BUT my brother swears by the version at the Demel Bakery https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sachertorte#Legal_issues

Re: How to boil water? - For tea.
I also had Sacher-Torte at Hotel Sacher (hence the address that I mentioned). I doubt that there really is a significant difference between Hotel Sacher and Café Demel's versions...
Best wishes,
Hans

Maybe we should visit both, while we're in Vienna anyway, to assess this for ourselves.
