I have been using a computer mouse for many hours a day for years, and this often leads to strain and discomfort in my wrist.
I recently bought a Vertical Mouse, which enables me to use the mouse with my wrist at a much more comfortable angle. I'm still getting used to it, but this looks like it's going to make a big difference to my comfort.

Re: Vertical Mouse
A colleague of mine at work uses something similar:

Not sure how long it will last, he changes his mouse frequently, for the same reason as Stuart. He's always looking for one that doesn't give him grief in his wrist/arm.

I'm not sure about "a full review article", but I'll certainly post an update in a week or two.
