I like the interface of the latest version of Chrome (v53.0)
The icons look more refined, the shortcut bar and buttons are slimmer and there is nicer animation on the click events of the buttons and menus.

When does Chrome update itself?
I had to go into Help -> About and say Yes to get it to download on top of Version 52.0.2743.116 m.

I assume that Google doesn't update Chrome immediately when a new version is available, but gradually, to balance server load. Mozilla does the same with Firefox.
