Deleting an ldb file
How can an ldb file be deleted when it thinks a user has the file open?

Chances are the problem will go away if you wait a while. Otherwise, you can try the free utility Unlocker.

Re: Deleting an ldb file
Thanks. That would be a handy utility to have. What is the address of the Unlocker utility. When I clicked on the link, the message appeared that this was a site that was blocked by our school division. If I have the address, I can request that they unblock this site.
I had waited overnight and the locking file was still there. Since the file was actually located on a file server, I had to wait until one of our network people came in. They took down the server and restarted it. After they did that, we were able to remove the ldb file.

The see the address of a link, just hold you mouse over it and the address will appear in the Status Bar.JudyJones wrote: What is the address of the Unlocker utility.
Otherwise right click on it, and choose Properties.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
