Anyone recall how to add "bullets" to a line of text lists?
Can it be done in Notepad or Wordpad?
Memory lapse has set in today, it seems.

The bottom example is how you do it, then!viking33 wrote:Yes, like the top examples.
(You sneaked the second line in while I was typing!)

Re: Bullets
Ah - I thought you were talking about Lounge posts!
Try hunting through Windows Code Page 1252 (or whatever you use) for the bullet character, probably at 149. Then make sure your NumLock light is lit, hold down Alt, and type 0149 on the numeric keypad, then release the Alt key.
Here you are... • !
(The open bullet at 0176 ° is another possibility, but I use that as a degree symbol, as in 3°C.)

Re: Bullets
John Gray's example is intended for use in discussion forums such as Eileen's Lounge and many others.
Notepad doesn't have built-in support for bullets - it's intended as a very basic editor for unformatted text.
Wordpad does support bullets - the screenshot below (from Windows XP) shows the toolbar button that toggles bullets on/off.
