I just downloaded the 64-bit version from http://www.theutilityfactory.com/download/download.htm and am putting it through its paces on my 65,534,492,672 bytes of data housed in 141,659 files in 6,661 folders on my TrueCrypt encrypted partition.
The basic file-find (look for all *.doc) ran beautifully fast.
The contents find (look for "brake" in all *.doc") took a lot longer, but then
(1) That's why we have MSHearts pinned to the Start menu, right?
(2) It was time for another coffee and
(3) When I developed a severe case of interruptus-impatientitis, it had found files and hence the folder of interest.
