preview MY TEMPLATES in Word 2010
When creating a document, If I go file > new > templates > sample templates, there is quite a selection and clicking on one shows a preview on the right hand side of the window. But if I select MY TEMPLATES a new window opens where my templates are stored but no preview is available. Is there a way to make WORD show a preview of my templates?

I think that one needs to save a thumbnail of the template from within the Properties of said template.

You have to tick the check box "Save thumbnail" when saving the templates. If you want to add thumbnails to existing templates:
- Open a template.
- Click File > Save As.
- Tick the "Save thumbnail" check box. - Click Save.
- Confirm that you want to overwrite the existing template.
- Repeat for each template.
- Open a template.
- Click File > Save As.
- Tick the "Save thumbnail" check box. - Click Save.
- Confirm that you want to overwrite the existing template.
- Repeat for each template.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Best wishes,
