HI, I've used Faststone Image viewer for years. I love it. I don't remember changing any settings but I must have.
When I clicked on an image while in browser view, it would come up in full screen but I think the toolbars and list stayed visible. Now it's just the photo so if I need to do some editing like cloning, the toolbar is gone unless I put the mouse on the edge. I don't like it that way but I don't know how nor can I remember how to make the toolbars permanently visible. I'd like to do away with the added toolbars coming out from the sides and top.
I hope this makes sense, or I have completely lost my mind. LOL

Re: Faststone Image viewer settings
As far as I know, FastStone Image Viewer has always worked that way - the toolbars are only visible when you move the mouse to an edge.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hmmm. I don’t remember having it do that. I wish I had saved my settings.
Thanks Hans.
Thanks Hans.

Re: Faststone Image viewer settings
Hi, I found what I was looking for. Yay!
In the settings, under viewer, I changed the "Associated image launches in" setting to Windowed view instead of Full Screen. This is apparently what I had for years and didn't know it. LOL I like that much better.
Thanks

Thanks, Louise.
Glad you found and were able to fix your issue. You taught me some things about FSIV today, too.
