Some third-party applications set policies for Chrome. The link above shows how to get rid of them.

Thanks HansV, I had been on the page in your link, but was reluctant to follow the registry hack. I was hoping for similar info when the same happened with Avast.

This is the first item:-
Delete the registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Chrome
Is it the Chrome folder I delete?

There was a few listed entry's I couldn't find but it is not organisation managed now after deleting the ones I could find. Thank you.

They were very popular in The Netherlands in the '70s, but I wasn't a fan.

True but there's usually some sort of vague connection that triggers the rapid digression. This one just came out of nowhere :dizzy:
