File Explorer Layout

I have been trying to find my Flash drives type assisted by Hans & StuartR. Now I have knackered File Explorer.
I used to get this with the Quick Access items on the left.

From the File Explorer menus select View > Navigation Pane, and enable the check box for Navigation Pane

Thanks StuartR, it was because I was unable to find how to do it, I reset my laptop. I had been thinking of doing it, as I had other problems I was unable to solve. Windows Spotlight in Lock Screen, Background image changeing as programmed and ten seconds before it was set. I also had my pc freeze a few times. Hopefully all will be cured. More good news, I was notified of your reply by email.
