Edit 9/30/20: Will post at end but the issue was a Mod that Allowed the Day of the Week (Mon, Tues, etc) to show in the System Tray Clock Time data.
When I removed that mod, RoboIntern started opening again.
RoboIntern is a multi-faceted - If This Happens, Do This app - Task via Trigger ... and it was fine.
I ran the Sep 1909 Cum Update and -- coincidence or cause?? -- (1st use after CU) I later made an 11th Task and in the process noticed the app closed itself, and when re-opened would last for a second and close - repeatedly. NO other W10 CU issues.
Delete and start over and the new - robointern.exe - will not open. Dnloaded and Extracted Zip BOTH on C: SSD Documents Folder and D: HDD RoboIntern Folder. Nothing...
Exempted Robointern in ESET Security Suite Real-time Protection and Mbam Prem.
Posted in RI Forum & The author did OK on a laptop with 1909 -- although he didn't confirm he ran Sept Cum Update. No different suggestions there.
What are some tricks to try to get it to Open again? Many Thanks as always.

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
Does Reliability History provide any clues?
(I didn't have RoboIntern. I downloaded it and ran it without problems on Windows 10 version 2004)

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
Thanks, hans.
My first exposure to Reliability History and they all look like this, which doesn't appear to have a hand raised saying "It's Me causing the problem".
I'll Add this to RI Forum Thread although I don't expect a resolution from it. We'll see and I'll update anything worthy.

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
Thanks - I hope the developer can make sense of this. Perhaps mscorlib and System.Windows.Markup.XamlParse will tell him something.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
mscorlib is part of the .NET runtime library. You could trying using Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and repair the C++ runtime libraries.

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
Thanks, Joe, you know your stuff.
The App author commented from this data that it might be Net Frmwk related and he'd look when able.
I did the Con Panel Repair, did Re-start, and RI still didn't open.
I'll see IF the author posts anything helpful and advise.

Re: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
Thanks, Joe. Uninstalled KB4576484/ Re-start/ Still won't open.
Rt Clk -- RoboIntern.exe -- "Compatibility Troubleshoot" Run as Win 8 = No Change
Looking at the MS Catalog I see 2 identical KB4576484 (lines 1 & 3) and Package Details on Both show -- This update has been replaced by the following update ....2020-09 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 (KB4576947)
If Uninstall didn't Fix this I wonder IF I should leave things as is until Oct CU - OR - Try the KB4576947?

Most people generally ignore the preview releases but in your case it is worth a try. You can always uninstall it too if other problems crop up.

The issue was a Mod that Allowed the Day of the Week (Mon, Tues, etc) to show in the System Tray Clock Time data.
When I removed that mod, RoboIntern started opening again.
I had Seen the Day of Week long B4 the problem surfaced, but removing that mod fixed the issue - I can live with that easily.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

You ought to let the author know. Perhaps a fix can be implemented so whatever time format is selected will work.

Re: Solved: Troubleshooting App Won't Open
I was feeding the author trial-and-error feedback + results from things he provided & asked me to try .
He was really good about trying to help - without knowing IF it was just me or many potentially.
