Having more WU trouble, how do I fix this. Changing settings or using the link does not help.

What exactly is the problem? The screenshot says that updates were installed at 12:59...

My first image shows only Windows Updates was on my Desktop pc. I was trying to show the corresponding image on my Laptop. I got :-
I have rebooted as requested, 'Services' show Windows Update as started. I used sfc /scannow in CMD as Admin and my image is the same.

Try this:
Stop the Windows Update service in Services.
Delete all files and subfolders in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.
Restart the Windows Update service.
Try Windows Update again.
Stop the Windows Update service in Services.
Delete all files and subfolders in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.
Restart the Windows Update service.
Try Windows Update again.
