Wimbledon 2010.
The queen's first visit in 33 years see's Britains Andy Murray beat Jarkko Nieminen in three straight sets (6-3 6-4 6-2)
Murray v Nieminen
But the big story.......
American John Isner beats Nicolas Mahut of France 70-68 in the final set of the longest tennis match in history at Wimbledon, after 11 hours and five minutes, played over 3 days.
Outstanding record breaking match.
Several records were broken, one of which was the number of aces in a match > 215.
A rather large piece of history......

The amount of strawberries and cream consumed during that match must have been enormous...
Best wishes,

Re: A rather large piece of history......
John Isner is back on court today in his second round match, with absolutely no juice left in the tank.
It's a shame to see, but I think he's about to go out.
On a happier note, day 5 and not yet a drop of rain at Wimbledon.....
Added:
It's all over (6-0 6-3 6-2) He must be gutted!

Argus,
Are you suggesting the English, or Swiss, footies know how to score goals?

Nah, not necessarily, we haven't seen plenty of them ... But I assume it was a comment on England's important game on Wednesday (Slovenia 0-1 England). Perhaps the umpire got bored by that never ending game between those French and American guys.
