Fair enough, the internet here is horrible, it takes forever to download anything if at all. The downloaded was interrupted for whatever reason. its is now 6% downloaded.

Well I installed all the drivers under the "clean" install, should I have done that? I notice that there was GE Experience amongst that lot.
Should I have just installed the Graphics option?

You can uninstall GEForce Experience from the Programs and Features control panel.I would highly recommend that when you get to the Custom Install which will allow the Clean Install that you select the graphic driver only and not select the other 5 or 6 optional apps.

Ever since I did a clean install it has not popped up again, however I uninstalled the GE Force Experience from the Programs and Features control panel anyway.
Thank you everyone, I hope this is not premature.

This is getting tiresome for me as well a you guys too, one thing fixed then another pops up.
I got a message from Avast re 3 files need to be deleted, so I did that.
Now the attached pops up.

That's why a good freebie uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller or the one I use, Advanced Uninstaller, is the way to go. IMHO. They not only uninstall the main program but also will clear out all of the debris leftovers including what is in the registry.Pat wrote:They want money, no way

Can you disable Avast Cleanup? Or is it an integral part of Avast Antivirus?

Update: yes, it is possible to remove Avast Cleanup:
- Right-click the Start button.
- Select 'Programs and Features' from the context menu.
- Select 'Avast Free AntiVirus' in the list of installed programs.
- Click 'Change'.
- Clear the check box for 'Cleanup'.
- Click 'Continue'.
- At the end, Avast will prompt you to restart your computer.

Why do that? Is it interfering or conflicting with something?

Re: I get this NVIDIA problem most days
You mentioned that it pops up with useless advice, since you'd have to pay to have it actually clean up anything. So I thought you might want to get rid of it. But if it doesn't bother you, by all means leave it alone.
Best wishes,
Hans
