Start Menu without the taskbar
Upgraded from Windows 8.1. Not liking the fact that the taskbar is everywhere. I like to have the taskbar with the desktop but not with the start Menu. Autohide the taskbar results in not being able to access it at all from the desktop but leeaves it on the fullscreen start menu. Anyway to reverse this behaviour. Thanks

Re: Start Menu without the taskbar
If you auto-hide the taskbar, you should be able invoke it in desktop mode by moving the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen, or by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
As far as I know, there is currently no built-in setting to hide the taskbar in tablet mode (fullscreen start screen).
The free utility AutoSwitch Taskbar claims that you can set the autohide options independently for the desktop and the start screen. I haven't tested it myself.

Re: Start Menu without the taskbar
Thanks Hans, swiping doesn't work for me but I attached a mouse to the tablet and that does work. I guess I'll have to live with it. Virus total flagged your suggestion 2/54 - my limit for adventure is only 1. Cheers
