Add on

I have the following message when I open IE v11. An add-on for this website failed to run
This results in when I open Gmail I cannot open Contacts as well. When I use Yahoo mail I don't see where I can select emails, or where the reply or forward buttons are. A real pain.
What can I do about it ??

I did have a malware issue which I have dealt with, and now I am worried I have deleted too much

In Windows, select Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons).
This starts IE without loading any add-ons at all.
Does that make a difference?

Not sure because I have Windows 8.1 and you don't have the Start > all programmes bit...

Oh and by the way, in your part of the world this weekend, will wave when the train passes Leiden :)

Press the Windows key + R to activate the Run dialog.
Enter the following:

iexplore -extoff

Press Enter or click OK.
