Microsoft killing off IE
According to this article Internet Explorer will be disappearing (at least as a brand).

A change of direction: Spartan won't switch to the Internet Explorer engine to display websites that depend on it - users will have to start Internet Explorer 11 to view such websites. (And yes - Internet Explorer 11 will be available in Windows 10)

Microsoft has made it clear that Spartan is the future. IE11 will not change much if at all for Win10.
