Interesting point of view. Those fields are only a few miles north of where I live, but I've never seen them that way.
Best wishes,
Hans

Dare I say that the airlines should charge more for the views when flying over the Netherlands when those fields are in bloom.

Quite a few people must have seen the flower fields from the air in spring - they are southwest of Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, and depending on the direction of the wind, planes will pass over the fields either after take-off or before landing.
Best wishes,
Hans

I know four people who've had such a view. It reminded them of Mondrian and inspired them to visit Kuekenhoff. Highly recommended.HansV wrote:Quite a few people must have seen the flower fields from the air in spring

I really enjoyed my visit to Kuekenhoff a few years ago. Must go back sometime.

Funny you should mention that. My Mungo has been practising his projectile vomiting trick again. Luckily (for me), in a land many, many miles awayStuartR wrote:I really enjoyed my visit to Kuekenhoff a few years ago.

Oh dear...
I assume that the "land many, many miles away" is not The Netherlands this time...

I think it is a reference to Bardabunga volcano in Iceland that may or may not be about to erupt, while Leif is not in the UK.Rudi wrote:Leif wrote:...I have not the foggiest idea what you just said to Stuart??!! Totally

Mungo - as in the name (of my son)
practising - as in "repeated performance or systematic exercise for the purpose of acquiring skill or proficiency"
projectile vomiting - I'll leave that to your imagination
(Hans, Stuart and I met up in Leiden some years back and Mungo first demonstrated this ability at a family meal in a restaurant )
Ken - take away the ice-cap, and you're not far off

TX... The picture is becoming crystal clear, except for the part in the middle which is purposefully blurred (for reasons!)

It was a spectacular performance. Good to hear that he's keeping up the practice.
