Short outage in the period from 17 to 21 October 2011

Post by HansV »

The company that hosts Eileen's Lounge is going to update the server software. For this reason, the Lounge will be unavailable for a period of about 10 minutes at some time between 17 and 21 October 2011. The exact date and time is not known yet. If all goes well, the Lounge will automatically become available again after the update.

So if you get an error message if you try to visit the Lounge during this period, please be patient and wait a few minutes before trying again. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
Best wishes,
Hans

I bet this takes place exactly at the time that one of those refrigerator-size satellites plummets to somewhere on earth, and I'll be unable to report it!

Has this update occurred yet?
If it has, I haven't noticed it.

There was a short timeout this morning around 11 AM my time, so 5 AM your time. I don't know if this was the announced outage, but it's the only one I've experienced this week.
Best wishes,
Hans
