NoScript - decipher needed sites

Post by curious »

The icon says Blocked zero of zero.
I have been trying to figure out which of the above sites I need for the puzzle to appear. I have been randomly Trusting some sites but not getting anywhere. I thought that clicking on the domain name as Trusted would be all that was needed.

Any guidance to figuring out the above would be most appreciated. Thank you.

In my browser I have permanently set the following sites to Trusted over the years:

washingtonpost.com
cloudfront.net
go-mpulse.net
newrelic.com
scorecardresearch.com
unpkg.com

To make the crossword puzzle appear, I also had to trust amuselabs.com.

As always, Hans, my thanks! I set those sites as trusted but, unfortunately, I still don't get the puzzle.

How protective is NoScript? I guess you recommend using it but I do find it baffling -even after studying various tutorials.

What happens if you set the other sites listed to Default (except DoubleClick.net, I'd leave that set to Untrusted)?

I have to admit that if a site needs tens of other sites to be trusted to make it work correctly, I tend to avoid it.

And then there are some sites that categorically refuse to let you view their content if they detect that you've even the tiniest form of protection. I can live without those.
Best wishes,
Hans

Nothing changes. (I thought Default was the same as Blocked???)

Default means that a site can display some things such as frames, but it cannot run JavaScript.
Untrusted means that the site can do hardly anything. So there is a difference.
