So nice to see flowers again

In which case it will be blackthorn as the 'rule' to distinguish blackthorn and hawthorn is:
blossom before leaves = blackthorn
leaves before blossom = hawthorn
While there are leaves on the plant in this photo they are still emerging, whereas the blossom is fully formed so this is an example of 'blossom before leaves'.

In any case the blackthorns are all in full flower now, and the hawthorn won't be out for a few weeks yet
