Manage extensions (add-ins) in Google Chrome

Post by jmt356 »

How do I manage extensions (add-ins) in Google Chrome? I have searched through Chrome Settings and found nothing dealing with extensions (add-ins).

Following a Restore of my computer, when I click the three vertical dots on the top right of Chrome, a message stating "Managed by your organization" displays at the bottom of the pop-up. What does this mean? This is a personal laptop and I am the administrator.

Also, the Chrome icon on my taskbar now looks different. On the bottom right of the icon, a small circle appears showing my avatar (if that is what it is called). Screenshot attached.

Are these two issues interrelated?

Has anyone succeeded in getting "Managed by your organization" removed from a personal laptop that is not managed by an organization?
