Cannot load pages in Chrome

Post by Pat »

I get the following message when trying to load a page.
What can I do?
The only thing I have done was to turn the Ad Blocker off
Windows Chrome page load error.JPG

Still not loading all pages, it is extremely slow and seems to freeze a lot of the time.

Pages that wont load are:

https://ph.yahoo.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.nine.com.au/?rf=true" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.2gb.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Does the Ad Blocker cause a problem?

These two web pages provide the same advice that seems to resolve the problem "mostly" based on page feedback.

See these:

1. Driver Easy: The remote device or resource won’t accept the connection

2. The Windows Club: The remote device or resource won’t accept the connection

Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

Thanks Rudi,
Tried both and no good.
I now use Edge but have lost all my favs in Chrome, is there a way to transfer them to Edge?

Thanks for that Hans, I haven't decided to give away using Chrome just yet.

Would it help to uninstall Chrome then download it and install the download?
If download is required, how do you do that?

All resolved. Back to using Chrome.
I downloaded the Avast_Cleanup tool and ran it, cost me a little but who cares.
Thank you for your help Rudi and Hans
