Classic Windows File Explorer in Windows 11

Post by hlewton »

My Registry was modified and I am using the classic Windows File Explorer in Windows 11. The Title bar is white and I cannot seem to change it. I have followed these instructions I found on the WEB;
Click on Start > Settings > Personalization. Scroll down on the right to Show accent color on the following surfaces. Titles bars and windows borders selected will work and both selected will work.
There is no option available to me for the Show accent color on the following surfaces. Titles bars and windows borders. I suspect that may be because of the Registry change enabling me to use the classic file explorer. Does anyone know how I can modify the file explorer to change the Title Bar color?

Thanks
Regards,

Try Start > Settings > Personalization > Colors.

But even if you find the 'Show accent color on title bars and windows borders' setting, it has little effect on the title bar of most windows in Windows 11. It will remain very light.
Best wishes,
Hans
