Is there anyway to:
1. Make the Startscreen completely fullscreen (no taskbar)
2. Have more than 3 large buttons horizontally. I basically want one large group filling the entire screen.
Windows 10 really comes across half baked. Where's the full loaf!

Re: Customising the Start menu
Thanks anyway, Hans. Maybe I'll go back to a basic feel via Classic Shell, or make something fullscreen using AHK. Fullscreen isn't fullscreen with a taskbar on it.

Re: Customising the Start menu
Go to Settings | Personalization | Start. Configure Start to be full screen. For more information see 10 Ways to Customize the Windows 10 Start Menu.
NOTE: I am running the most current Insiders preview build and am not sure if the settings for the last public release (Anniversary Update) are the same.

Re: Customising the Start menu
Hi Joe,
I don't think that does what Cah wants, at least not in the Anniversary Update.
1. 'Use Start full screen' does expand Start to fill the entire screen, but it still displays the Taskbar. Cah wants a full-screen Start without the Taskbar.
2. 'Show more tiles' makes Start fit 4 tiles in a group horizontally, instead of 3, but not more.

Re: Customising the Start menu
He can configure the taskbar to autohide although that comes with the same inconsistencies for some as in past versions of Windows.
He may have to live with the 4 tiles per group until the Creators Update when you can add folders to the tile part of the Start menu.

Re: Customising the Start menu
Thanks for the four tiles tip, I'd missed the effect of that setting. I'm trying out hiding the taskbar at the moment but don't think that will survive long...
