Problems with 2016.12.13 updates

It was bound to happen sooner or later. After a successful Cumulative update last Friday (the 9th) the current release of 3 KBs / 890830, 3206632 and 3209498 brought my system to its knees on the Ides of December.

The download of the updates froze at 95% and while trying a few aborts, cleaning out the download folder and restarting, nothing could proceed past the 95% download mark. I finally downloaded the 3 KBs from the Microsoft catalog site and manually installed each of them separately. Went very smoothly with that process. Almost makes one think that this should be the preferred method of applying updates in the future. :grin:

Glad you came right in the end. Installing those three updates took longer than usual on my PC, but it finished without problems.
