W10 Notification Symbol

Post by RonH »

Every so often, the Taskbar symbol

includes a small circle with a 'minus' in it.
Any idea what this means? The Action Centre/Reliability information does not show any issues.

Hi Ron,

The minus sign indicates that Quiet Hours is active and you will not get any notifications.
For all the details, see these two webpages...

- How to Configure Do Not Disturb Mode in Windows 10
- How to Turn On or Off Quiet Hours in Windows 10
Regards,
Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.
