Post by Rudi »

A neat wireless photo transfer app for Windows 10 users. (WiFi needed).

Thanks!

(I don't need it - photos on my phone are automatically backed up to Google Photos when I am connected to WiFi)
Best wishes,
Hans

The catch seems to be that you must be using the Win 10 Photo app on your PC. I don't and am never likely to. Mind you I don't have a phone with a camera so what am I griping about?

Does your fancy SLR not have a phone built into it? :innocent:

Looks to me like a rather ill-concealed ploy to get users to move to Win 10. I find that Dropbox and iTunes work very well for that type of transfer.

What I'd like to know is what was engineered into the software to prevent it being backward compatible to Win 7, at least, given that there are so very many who have stayed on 7 because they dislike many of the ways in which 10 works.
