Libraries/Documents -- save the files in Ascending Order

Post by curious »

Libraries/Documents -- I would like to save the files in Ascending Order. Both Folders and Files default to Descending order.
I highlight the files, choose Invert selection and all is well. But I do not see an option to Save.
(Windows 8.1)
Thank you

"Invert Selection" doesn't sort anything - it just deselects the selected item(s) and selects the non-selected items.
Instead, activate the View tab of the ribbon.
Click on Sort By in the Current View group.
Select Name.
Then click Sort By again and select Ascending.
Windows should automatically "remember" this setting.
