Timelord....I LOVE Mac and cheese!! I grew up on it as my mom made the best mac and cheese ever!!! Layers of pasta, then egg and bacon strips then pasta again, then sauce and cheese.... absolutely mouth watering! I think I compare my wife's mac and cheese to my moms (I know...very unfair), so she never makes it a lot. (Poor thing! LOL)

That is an interesting comment, substituting fish in most fish recipes with chicken. That might certainly throw open the choices of some recipes we haven't tried in a long time. No need to swop out the colour of the wine though :grin:

I have one of these triple slow cookers (crock pots). Though you may not want to use it for everyday purposes it sure is handy for holiday meals. They really aren't all that expensive either, at least not here. They run from around $40.00 to $80.00. The individual controls makes it extra nice to use.
