Hi all
My daughter has just sent me a text which says:-
This year as far as dates go we will have 1.1.11, 11.1.11, 1.11.11 and 11.11.11, also if you add the last 2 numbers of your date of birth with the age you will be this year it comes to 111.
I was born in 57 and will be 54 this year so it works for me, I guess that there is a 'maths' answer to it

Re: All the 1's
You were born in 1957 so this year you reach the age of 2011-1957. Subtract 1900 from both numbers and you get 111-57. Now add the last two digits of your birth year and you get 111-57+57 which obviously equals 111. The same calculation holds for anyone born in 1900-1999, but not for people born before 1900 or after 1999.
Best wishes,
Hans

And on the 11th of November, please note what you're doing at 11:11:11 in the morning of 11.11.11.
Best wishes,
Hans

I will, of course, like every other year observe the silence, most of my works mates probably wish the song was I wish it could be 11.11.11 everyday instead of I wish it could be Christmas everyday to shut me up!!
