Ahhh. That takes me back to my childhood. I grew up with an English Bulldog that was about the size of those tykes when my father first brought her home. Her first official act was to piddle on the floor and all three of us girls (aged 5, 7 & 14), voted to name her Puddles. My mother immediately overruled that idea and she ended up as Cuddles, instead.
