Not scary ... too distant hopefully should it be questioning our very existence

Re: What's going on in space?
When I were a raw lad of 12, I traveled across the US with 3 brothers and a brother-in-law. I remember a rather rustic restaurant we ate in - there were few, if any, chain eateries in the mid '50s - I looked around as curious lads will. I looked up into the open rafter space and in the dim, dark I made out a sign. It read: What the Hell are You Looking up Here For?
Maybe that sign has been astronomically rendered.

Nowadays it should read "here's Your Sign", Bob.

That's a most peculiar JWST image!
I thought it was a joke till I saw space.com and then Matt Caplan.

I found it suspicious too.
I checked it in several places before posting it here!

Re: What's going on in space?
I agree that it is questionable.
I see what I would call pinwheel galaxies and maybe a planet or two and some stars, but what is that cloud appearing at upper left? Space dust?

Re: What's going on in space?
Yes, that's space dust within our own galaxy, reflecting the light of nearby stars.
