Imagine my surprise when I learned I could leverage my limited knowledge of the French language (level: Tourist-plus) to listen to the weather forecast on St Ouen
I have not yet found an SBS-Sydney news podcast in Jèrriais but in the meantime there's stuff on Dear Old YouTube.

I figure that this can go either way:-
(1) I won't understand enough of a weather forecast to get depressed about the weather or
(2) I will understand enough of a weather forecast for a small island off the coast of the mainland to feel uplifted.
Only time will tell ...
