A Silly Question.

Post by Ted Myers »

Is it my imagination or does the Font size change to a smaller size during night time?
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

No. Because it's dark, the pupils of your eyes become larger, so the text appears to be smaller.

You could check by asking your mother in law if it's something she's noticed as well.

The forces of dark don't like anything to to with churches. So when they see a font they think they might be about to be baptized, they try to shrink it.

It wasn't meant to be religious per se.

The title of the thread was A Silly Question, so I gave a silly answer, relating fonts to dark. That's all.

Not a problem GeoffW.
I have found a way to overcome this issue. I use Chrome during the day which is at it's default settings, then use FF which tends to be larger.

I've just woken up at silly o'clock and logged on and my font has turned into some old style serif font!

You can easily change the zoom level in Firefox if you have a mouse wheel - simply hold down Ctrl while rotating the wheel.
Otherwise, see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fo ... -web-pages

(Note: when you change the zoom level for a particular website, Firefox does appear to remember it, and not apply it universally.)

I knew about using the mouse wheel on both browsers. Any adjustment is remembered for the site.
