busy vs lazy

Something else that beats working is watching work. The bees didn't seem to mind me doing that.

It would have been so ironic if they had told you to buzz off!

Busy Bees and safety Zones

Post by DocAElstein »

That is really quite Beautiful. I also notice the Bees are so busy just now that I can get quite close to them and they don’t seem to mind.
I can’t hold a candle to your photo proficiency , Ken, but it’s the thought that counts, and I thought I would show you my recent attempt at something similar….
Alongside my favourite local rediscovered old railway track some very pretty things appeared a few weeks ago,

, and were in danger of being buried alive by some recently started annoying local building development, so I brought a lot home and put them in a bucket of water, (which I discovered that if I frequently renew the water, the things last for weeks) https://postimg.cc/c6LY16Vn

It’s very noticeable that the Bees really love these things: My best shot I have close to yours:

Over a week later, this morning, the plants are almost all dead, but I learnt to leave them there for a while, since the Bees still seem very interested in the last bits

When my wheelbarrows get too worn out to use, I paint them pretty, put plants in them and park them anywhere that annoys the local authorities, who I have grown to hate with a passion.
In England I expect a lot of people would find it either amusing or pretty what I do. Here it sets a ton of Beamters with nothing better to do on your back. I learnt how to handle them over the years: I use the surrounding pavement and parts of the road as my occupied “safety zone”, and fight them there. The short sighted idiots are kept busy there and so don’t attempt to come on my property anymore. I am being very kind to them actually: it really would not be very healthy for them if they ever try that again, … my “Castle” and all that…

I seriously don’t ever try to annoy. Maybe I am just the kid that missed being told about the King’s new magic suit, :(
