I would say that your photographic quality is certainly greater than 92%! :fanfare:

Horse Dale, but there's more than one Horse Dale so paste these coords into Google maps and then turn on the satellite view.

It's on the Wolds Way so you might even have sat on the bench I was sat on while my legs recovered from climbing the hill.

Ken
PS if you zoom in on Bing Maps, do you have the option to view the map as an Ordnance Survey map? If so, put the coords into that view.

I did pass by there on my way to Fridaythorpe in September of 2008.

Sadly, OS maps aren't available here.
Best wishes,
Hans

Ah, so you were coming from Huggate, so you went down the steep bank and then had the long drag up Holm Dale and into Fridaythorpe? We were going the opposite way. We started in Fridaythorpe but then at this point, didn't stay on the Wolds Way and go into Huggate. We followed Horse Dale to the top and then looped round along another path and back to Fridaythopre.

The Yorkshire Wolds Way passes just north of Huggate:

Yes, but what I meant was, you must have been going the opposite direction to us, following the path from the south / just north of Huggate to the north / Fridaythorpe. We were going the opposite direction. Purple line (sort of, it's a bit wobbly in places  ) shows our route.
