Speaking of clouds, can't astrophotographers like you who can move heaven and earth do something about a single low-pressure system? In sylvan Pennsylvania, schools are closed because the temperature might rise to 97F, but here on The Rock I cannot plant my sweet and otherwise potatoes because - well we are in for another week of -2c and -3c at nights.
I am reduced to hoping that my vegetable seeds do NOT germinate for another two weeks.
Not that I am complaining, mind you ...

Not a thing! When you send them across at high latitude they fill the sky with Atlantic clouds. At lower latitudes they suck the warm air up from Spain!
